Privacy policy
How we collect, use, store and protect personal information.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Who we are
This policy applies to Humainetics Pty Ltd (ABN 14 654 584 362) (“Humainetics”, “we”, “us”). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business. Usually this is information you choose to send us through our contact form, such as:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your organisation and role
- anything you include in your message about your business needs
This website has no account sign-up, does not take payments, and does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) records technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, for security and operational purposes. The website loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address. We do not use this information to identify you.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to your enquiry, discuss and provide our products and services, keep business records and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We only send marketing if you have agreed to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We may share personal information with service providers who help us run our business, such as our contact form provider (Formspree), email, hosting and IT providers, with our professional advisers, or where the law requires it. Some of these providers, including Formspree, GitHub and Google, may store data outside Australia (for example in the United States). We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle personal information appropriately.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or complain about how we have handled it, using our contact form (choose “Privacy request”). We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
